Texas Home Lemon Law - Amendment 27 to HB 1038

Texas Representative Senfronia Thompson of Houston, submitted the Home Lemon Law Amendment on behalf of Janet Ahmad, President of Home Owners for Better Building (HOBB - http://www.hobb.org). Representative David Swinford, Chairman of State Affairs, argued on behalf of Home Builders that to hold them accountable for a poorly constructed homes would cost too much money and home prices would go up !? And, to make matters worse, State Representative Allan Ritter, said the Home Lemon Law Protections would take them in a direction that they did not want to go !?
